Alpha 0.3 - New Features and Weight Gain!

Hey everyone! We’re back with another exciting update for our game. This time, we’ve made a bunch of improvements, added new features, and fixed some pesky bugs. Let’s dive into all the awesome changes:

New Features:

  • Map Navigation System: No more having to walk to your destination every time! You can now easily navigate between locations using the new map system.

  • Fishing Minigame Overhaul: We’ve revamped the fishing minigame for a more enjoyable experience. Plus, we’ve added a new rare fish—the Clown Fish! Catch it for an awesome bonus: 50 HP, 10 MP, and a 100 XP boost. Remember, fish aren’t just for selling—they can also be used in battle to recover health and mana!

  • Defense Per Level: Your character is now getting tougher as they level up! Depending on your route, the higher your level, the more defense you’ll have. This means you’ll become more tanky as you progress.

  • Furry Changes: Switching between furries just got even more rewarding! Now, when you change, you’ll gain a 2.5% chance per level to avoid the next enemy attack. You can also escape from battles based on your furry level (4% * current level).

  • Fixed Furry Gallery: The furry gallery now has a fixed size for each character instead of resizing with each level—cleaner, more consistent, and easier to navigate.

  • Visual Growth on Level Up: Get ready to see your furry character grow as they level up! As you gain experience, you'll notice their appearance change, making your progress even more rewarding.

Skills Based on Your Path:

We’ve added 3 exciting new skills based on the route you’ve chosen for your character. Choose wisely, as these skills could turn the tide in battle!

  • Breast Expansion Path
    Skill: “Busting Burst”
Temporarily enlarges breasts to deal high damage and briefly boost defense.

  • Female Muscle Growth Path
    Skill: “Muscle Crush”
Rapidly grows muscles to deliver a powerful attack that stuns enemies while also boosting strength and HP for a short time.

  • Weight Gain Path
    Skill: “Heavy Impact”
Gains significant weight to perform a ground-pound attack that damages and stuns enemies, while also increasing health and defense.

Bug Fixes:

  • Store Bug Fix: We’ve resolved an issue where Sasha was buying items for an inflated price.

  • Back Button Bug Fix: Fixed a bug that caused a strange screen glitch when pressing the back button in the store.

  • Tuna Price Fix: The price of tuna has been adjusted to ensure balance.

Weight Gain has arrived!:

  • Fox WG Path Added.

  • Cow WG Path Added.

Pretty neat update, one quick note though - while the new map feature is pretty good there two things in need of immediate improvement:

  1. The text used on the map has bad visibility on smaller screens/window sizes (tested on both PC and android phone) because of its' black color and lack of an outline - adding a brightly colored (white should be enough) outline to the text would fix this issue.
  2. This is definitely a bug: if you go to the map from the "Home" screen through the "Go Outside" option, and then press the red "X" button on the map screen to go back to home, you go back to the "Home" screen, but all the options are unavailable, like this:

Outside of that, you could also make it so that the text on the map screen doesn't disappear when you hover over it, and instead it changes color to a brighter one.

Either way, can't wait to see where things go and looking forward to more updates!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm definitely gonna look at that bug and fix the map to be more small-device friendly! I’ll also work on making the text more visible and responsive, with that outline and color change. Appreciate your input, and I’m excited to make these improvements! Stay tuned for more updates!

I forgot to mention it in my previous post, but the level up animations, while nice, might also need some improvement. I dunno, but the whole "rapid size pulse while switching between pictures" or what you may call it maybe hard on the eyes the way it is right now. It is for me at the very least, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not the only one. For now I'd suggest making the pulses slower? I can't really come up with a better idea for a solution to be honest.

Cheers!

Gonna make it slower! thanks!
